Degree in Biology (2009, University of Girona). Master’s degree in Water Science and Technology in process (2017, University of Girona). My main interest is the ecology and population dynamics of the aquatic reptiles of the continental Mediterranean environments, focusing in the native turtles and in particular the European pond turtle (Emys orbicularis).
Degree in Biology (University of Valencia, 2010-2014) and Master’s degree in Marine Biology: Biodiversity and Conservation (University of La Laguna, 2015-2017). As a PhD student at Institute of Aquatic Ecology (2017-2020) and participating in a Life Restoration Project in La Pletera I am going to study the ecosystem metabolism estimating gross primary production (GPP), ecosystem respiration (R) and net ecosystem production (NEP) from measurements of changes in dissolved oxygen (DO) and the relationship with other environmental factors. In addition, we will quantify the ecosystem metabolism influence in the aquatic community structure and how useful would be to consider ecosystem metabolism as a technique for monitoring the ecological status and to analyse the response of these habitats to ecological restoration.
